Effective August 20, 2026

MemberGig, LLC (“MemberGig,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use our website, platform, resource boards, listings/posts, messaging features, subscriptions, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Privacy Policy and agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Services.

This Privacy Policy is part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service. Any terms not defined in this Privacy Policy have the same meaning as in the Terms of Service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect certain types of information depending on how you interact with MemberGig and use the Services.

Personal Information (provided by you)

This includes information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, business name, board name, board description, logos, profile photos, cover images, website links, social links, service areas, and any information you include in boards, listings/posts, messages, screening responses, or other content. It also includes account-related information such as usernames and passwords, as well as payment and billing information, which is processed securely through Stripe.

Board and Listing Access Information

If a board requires approval before a Provider can create a listing/post, we may collect information submitted through screening questions, access requests, approval decisions, and related communications between Providers and Board Owners.

Sensitive Personal Information

Some personal information may be considered “sensitive” under certain privacy laws. This can include account login credentials, payment-related information, precise location data, or other information that requires a higher level of protection under applicable law.

MemberGig collects and uses sensitive personal information only as necessary to provide and operate the Services, such as account authentication, payment processing through Stripe, security, and fraud prevention. We do not use sensitive personal information for targeted advertising or for purposes unrelated to providing the Services, and we do not sell sensitive personal information.

Users should not upload, post, or share sensitive medical, financial, legal, government-issued, protected health, or other highly confidential information through boards, listings/posts, messages, screening responses, or other platform content unless specifically required, legally permitted, and appropriate for the Services.

Usage Information (collected automatically)

When you use MemberGig, we automatically collect certain technical and usage information, such as your IP address, device type, operating system, browser type and version, pages viewed, boards visited or saved, listings viewed, features used, actions taken, dates and times of activity, cookies, log data, and similar tracking information. This information helps us operate, secure, personalize, and improve the Services.

Information from Third Parties

We may receive information about you from third parties, such as social media platforms or integrations you choose to connect, as well as from marketing partners, referral sources, or lead providers, where permitted by law.

3. How We Share Your Information

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

Service Providers

With trusted third-party vendors that help operate the Services, such as payment processors, hosting providers, analytics providers, and email delivery services.

MemberGig uses Stripe to process payments, subscriptions, and payouts. MemberGig does not store full credit card numbers. Stripe may provide MemberGig with limited payment-related information, such as payment status, subscription status, invoice details, card brand, and last four digits of a payment card, where needed to display billing history, manage subscriptions, prevent fraud, or provide support.

Other Users

When you interact on boards, create listings/posts, submit screening responses, send messages, request listing access, or engage with other users, certain information may be visible to Board Owners, Providers, Visitors, Team Members, or other users as part of normal platform functionality.

Board Owners

Board Owners may be able to view certain information related to their boards, including Provider names, emails, listing/post details, screening responses, approval requests, visitor messages related to listings, and board activity needed to manage their boards.

Providers

When a Visitor sends a message to a Provider through MemberGig, the Provider may receive the Visitor’s name, email address, message content, and related listing/post information so the Provider can respond.

Team Members

If a Board Owner adds Team Members to assist with board management, those Team Members may access certain board-related information needed to help manage the board, depending on the permissions available through the Services.

Public Boards and Listings

Information included in public or accessible boards and listings/posts may be visible to other users, search engines, or the public depending on board settings, direct board URLs, and visibility preferences selected by Board Owners or users. Users are responsible for the information they choose to include in boards, listings/posts, profiles, messages, or other publicly visible content.

Legal Compliance

If required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or security of MemberGig, our users, or others.

Business Transfers

In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, where personal information may be transferred as part of the transaction.

We do not sell your personal information. In some U.S. states, certain data practices may be considered “sharing” or “selling” under privacy laws. Where required, you have the right to opt out of such practices.

4. International Data Transfers

MemberGig is based in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where data protection laws may differ.

Where required by law, we implement appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful mechanisms, to protect international data transfers.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. When you delete your account, delete a board, or remove a listing/post, we delete, disable, or anonymize related information as described in this Privacy Policy, unless retention is required or permitted for legal, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, backup, tax, accounting, or legitimate business purposes. When you close your account, we delete or anonymize your information unless retention is required to:

  • Comply with legal obligations

  • Resolve disputes

  • Prevent fraud or abuse

  • Enforce agreements

6. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information.

We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required by law.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, provide security protections, monitor usage and performance, and improve the Services. We and certain service providers may use cookies or similar technologies for analytics, performance monitoring, authentication, security, and platform functionality.

Cookies and similar technologies may also help us support login sessions, saved board functionality, security checks, referral or source tracking, and user navigation across boards and account pages.

You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings, but some features of the Services may not function properly if cookies are blocked.

Publicly visible information may be indexed by search engines or accessed by third parties. MemberGig cannot control how third parties use publicly available information once it is shared publicly.

10. Do Not Track and Preference Signals

We do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals. We do honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) and other legally recognized opt-out signals where required by law.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email and/or by posting a notice on the platform. Updates will include a new “Last Revised” date.

12. Deleting Your Account

You may request to delete your account at any time through your account settings or available platform tools. Account deletion may be subject to a pending deletion period before permanent removal. During this period, certain account, board, listing/post, subscription, or notification functions may continue as needed to complete the deletion process and notify affected users.

If a Board Owner deletes a board or deletes their account, information associated with that board, including Provider listings/posts, board content, and related activity, may be removed, disabled, scheduled for deletion, or retained temporarily as needed to complete the deletion process, provide notices, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations.

Certain information may be retained where necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, backups, or legitimate business purposes.
